Terms of Service
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between CollaboSpace (the “Company”) and users in connection with websites and related services operated by the Company (the “Service”).
Article 2. Definitions
- “Service” means the space curation and community services provided by the Company.
- “User” means any member or non-member who uses the Service.
- “Member” means a person aged 14 or older who registers for membership by providing personal information to the Company and is able to continuously use the Service. The Service does not allow registration by children under 14.
Article 3. Effect and Changes to the Terms
The Company may revise these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law. Revised Terms become effective when announced through notices or other reasonable methods.
Article 4. Provision and Changes of the Service
The Company uses reasonable efforts to provide stable Service. The Company may change the Service when operationally or technically necessary.
Article 5. User Obligations
Users must not engage in the following acts. If a violation is found, the Company may restrict use of the Service.
- Registering false information when applying for or changing information.
- Using another person’s information without permission.
- Infringing the Company’s copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
- Posting or disclosing information that violates public order, decency, or applicable law.
Article 6. User Content and Zero-Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content
- Users are responsible for posts, comments, and other content they create (“User Content”).
- The Company applies a zero-tolerance policy to objectionable content and abusive behavior, including harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit content, violent or discriminatory expression, and illegal information.
- Users can report objectionable content or abusive users through in-app reporting and blocking features.
- The Company reviews reported objectionable content within 24 hours and may remove the content, suspend the user, delete the account, or take other appropriate action.
- If a user violates this Article, the Company may remove content or restrict use without prior notice where permitted by law.
Article 7. Copyright and Use of Content
- Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Company belong to the Company.
- Copyrights in posts, canvas works, and other User Content remain with the user who created them.
- Users grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, distribute, edit, and otherwise use User Content for operating, improving, promoting, and marketing the Service and brand, including exposure on official social media and third-party channels.
- If a user deletes or makes User Content private, the Company will stop using that content for marketing and promotional purposes without undue delay.
- Users may not copy, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, commercially exploit, or allow third parties to use information obtained through the Service without prior consent from the Company.
Article 8. Disclaimer
The Company is not responsible for failure to provide the Service due to force majeure events such as natural disasters or equivalent circumstances. The Company is not responsible for service disruptions caused by reasons attributable to users.
Article 9. Location Information
- The Company may provide location-based features using location information, such as distance calculations for spaces and brands, map display, and address recommendations.
- The Company processes and protects location information in accordance with applicable privacy and location information laws.
- The Company generally deletes personal location information when the purpose of providing the location-based feature is fulfilled. Records of use or provision of location information may be retained for up to six months where required for customer support or applicable law.
